My husband and I are in a financial crunch right now. We just had to buy a new car when our old one unexpectedly died.
Man … we didn’t have any money to spare either. Well, I guess we had enough available to us to swing buying a used car, but that’s it. Now we have to watch every penny!
I’m now scratching my head and trying to figure out ways to both save and make more money. I have several websites and blogs and that’s the main way I earn income these days since I’m on medical leave from my work. Somehow though I need to come up with a few hundred dollars more per month.
Actually I cam across some Forex training webinars and I was thinking about looking into them … hey who knows, maybe I’d be good at. If I were, it would sure be a good way to make some much needed money! Anyone try this?

I can certainly sympathize with that. This economy is really tough right now, and most likely will still be hard for the rest of the year.

Ive had a bit of bad luck lately. I am a self employed plasterer and injured my wrist. I had about 5 weeks off unpaid, it was the school holidays too so had to try and entertain the kids on a budget.
Back to work now so time to get saving.

I’m sorry to hear about your wrist. I hope it’s all healed now.
Look on the bright side. You got to spend some time with the kids. hopefully some of it was quality time and if your kids are old enough to remember perhaps you made some lasting memories. Also .. if you normally would have had someone taking care of the kids while you were working you did save some money on their care while you were off work.
